Job Overview
We require an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will be responsible for managing HR activities for our Europe teams. We currently have teams based in UK, Ireland, Finland, Belgium, Italy and Denmark.
This role will report to the HR Director for Europe, Middle East and Asia, this HRBP role is a strategic partner and consultant to leaders and their teams in the Europe region of Jensen Hughes.
This role can be based from any of our UK offices on a hybrid basis. Office locations include Belfast, Manchester and Edinburgh
Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders in the region to develop and implement talent strategies that result in positive business outcomes, elevating the employee experience, developing talent of the future and strengthening our organisational performance
Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo, and develop best practice solutions to address talent challenges before they impact the business
In conjunction with our Talent Acquisition team, drive recruitment activity including participating in interviews where required, preparation/checking of job offers and pre-employment checks
Oversee local workforce planning to support timely opening of recruitment requisitions aligned to resource/succession planning within the region
Manage effective onboarding and overseeing probationary reviews
Identify themes from performance reviews and addressing accordingly
Conduct Exit Interviews and reporting on associated data
Ensure alignment with our internal Career Framework
Develop and implement employee engagement programmes to continually improve engagement and retention
Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure alignment and a unified HR delivery approach
Provide leadership on talent management, including assessing, developing and coaching critical talent
Effectively support M&A related activity including due diligence and integration planning and execution
Manage visa/work permit requirements
Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations matters
Act as day-to-day contact for our people managers and employees in Europe
Foster a healthy organisational culture, further activating and driving our company principles through all talent related activities
Develop and lead on HR projects and initiatives as required, e.g., talent management/succession planning, compensation and benefits initiatives
Foster a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion across the organisation
Liaise and build effective working relationships with colleagues, both within the wider HR team and in other Corporate functions/Operational teams
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent with relevant qualification(s) and/or extensive generalist HR experience, ideally within professional services
Experience of working in HR across UK and Europe
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English. Additional European languages would be beneficial
Solid understanding of employment law and competent in liaising with legal counsel to understand and apply local requirements
Ability to advise on complex employee relations matters
Confidence to engage across all levels of the business
Commercially focused
Ability to identify and lead on process improvement and to effectively manage change
Comfortable with a high-volume workload and willingness to proactively roll up your sleeves
